Honda unveils the new CRF RALLY : while the motorcycle world were in a whirl of argument higher than the much awaited opening of the production versions of the Yamaha T7 Tenere and the KTM 790 Adventure at the EICMA show, Honda used the occasion to fall in a rather beautiful and arguably more adventure-ready concept bike. The Honda CRF450L Rally is based on the improved brother of the 250L the CRF450L which was launched at the start of October, and initial impressions of the extra bike were overwhelmingly positive. Its stunning!
The CRF450L Rally is sufficiently fitted out once a plastics kit that echoes the look of the CRF250L Rally and features a fabulous looking underslung Termignoni exhaust system just with full-on rally bikes. The fuel tank is much larger than the hoard 450L , theres a sexy looking instrument and navigation tower at the rear the headlight and predictably theres a generous smattering of carbon fibre, anodised and billet components. Its a long artifice from the 450 Rally that the Honda lead riders use for the likes of the Dakar, but its still a no question purposeful looking machine.
